Careers with PGC Investigators
The Psychiatric Genomics Consortium is one of the most innovative experiments in the history of psychiatry. We have unified much of the field to enable rapid progress in elucidating the genetic basis of psychiatric disorders. We have 800+ investigators from 36 countries and >400K subjects. The PGC has attracted a cadre of outstanding scientists whose careers center on our work. We are interested in making connections for Early Career Researchers.

Postdoctoral Fellow | University of South Florida | We seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to work on a multi-year, Wellcome Trust-funded project investigating the intergenerational impact of exposure to the Rwandan Genocide against ethnic Tutsi. The postdoc fellow will undertake analyses of blood-derived, genome scale DNA methylation data in relation to genocide exposure and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as investigate the role of resilience. Initially, the post doc will work as part of an international, multidisciplinary research team to maintain uninterrupted and consistent progress toward the goals of this Wellcome Trust award. A successful post doc will also have considerable latitude to develop and carry forward new, independent projects.
