Data Receiving Committee
The goal of the PGC Data Receiving Committee (DRC) is to maintain simple, efficient and secure procedures for investigators to contribute data to the PGC. Each PGC Disorder Workgroup has a Data Receiving Committee Representative (DRC Rep). The DRC Rep reviews inquiries about potential new datasets, corresponds with the data owner as needed, gathers all of the necessary information about the data, and works with the data owner to facilitate secure data transfer to the PGC. The DRC Rep hands off the data to the Stage 1 Analyst from the relevant PGC Disorder Workgroup, who will begin data processing. The DRC Rep also ensures that any restrictions the data owner requires for sharing of data with PGC members are conveyed to the PGC Data Access Committee (DAC).
